If all teeth are missing, complete dentures are used and if only some are missing, partial dentures are used.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What do dentures consist of?<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>There are two types of complete dentures:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Conventional:<\/strong> Placed in the mouth 8 to 12 weeks after the teeth have been extracted, once the gum tissue has begun to heal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Immediate:<\/strong> performed before tooth extraction and placed immediately after tooth extraction. They require adjustments over time. They are considered a temporary solution until conventional dentures can be fitted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In the case of partial dentures, a bridge is used to replace the middle teeth, and a denture is used to fill the space. This allows the remaining natural teeth not to change position.
